First of all, Birthday shoutout to all the birthdays this past week including our own Enocha Edenfield, Joe Henderson and Jason Godwin!
Secondly, I feel a disclaimer is in order.
* All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental or done on purpose. Either way the viewpoints that the characters hold are not based on anything of any substance. Hate them if you want, but love your neighbor and your local comic shop owners!
Somehow, I’ve always slightly suspected that comic store workers would go postal after awhile. Good reveal!
Rob went digital for his comics, that’s a shame. It would have been if Lizzy shopped the dollar boxes and constantly asked what the price of the books were. Personally I want to see what the “Grand Finale Trap” is, even if Ambush went all bond villain expositional at the end. You never explain why you’re evil or give away your plan.
Thanks, George. Seemed like a good fit to me. heh.
@EAB I don’t know about that… I always see where villains explain their plan, it’s usually what leads to their undoing!
Comic Shop Guy certainly bares no resemblance whatsoever to any local shop owners that I’m aware of….lol great strip Jayson
great job with the strip this week. i love how comic shop guy looks way more withered and evil than normal
I’d be pissed too if I was paying all this rent and people were just hanging out there. Must be why starbucks closed near me.
Haha! Thanks ComicEmp and Andrew!
You may be on to something there, Bearman.
Nice reveal, dude! I liked this one alot for some reason. Maybe because you hit the nail on the head.
And I know this is late but yes, dig the new format. More to read and see each week is win-win. Almost has me motivated…
When this guy is done with the wannabes, I wanna see him taking on the Marvel and DC editors.

This dosen’t look goo…
Wait! Where’s Phan?
cool, i’m so ready more of this. i’m curious to see what the final trap is.
Villains love robes. Gaddafi, Comic Shop Guy, Emperor Palpatine. Does wearing a Snuggie free you up to be more evil?
Next time I see somebody in a Snuggie, I’m shooting them. Just to be on the safe side.
@Bearman, about that Starbucks…

Dash it all, Rob! Now we’ve got to get a new fourth wall! Do you know how expensive those things are?
Haha… Yea, those 4th walls are tough to get!
